WELCOME to the first Portuguese service dedicated to the practice of Holistic Veterinary Medicine.

Holistic Veterinary Medicine is an integrated approach to the practice of veterinary medicine. It takes into consideration all aspects of an animal’s past and present life when making a diagnosis and prescribing therapy and it combines conventional and complementary methods of treatment. In the practice of holistic veterinary medicine, the imbalances that occur in different animals and lead to disease are regarded as specific to the particular nature of each one and treated in that individual  way.

An animal´s home and environment play an important part in creating its individual character and determining its well-being. This new service therefore introduces in to Portugal for the first time a "Home Care" veterinary service with a holistic approach. This Home Care service will allow the owner of an animal to make an appointment and have his animal treated at home, in the place where the animal feels most comfortable and with people it knows and trusts. This service will be of special advantage for those animals whose conditions make it difficult to take or transport them to a veterinary clinic.

Traditional Chinese medicine, biological medicine and conventional medicine are the foundation of this new veterinary service. Bringing these different approaches together, it is possible to arrive at an individual diagnosis and establish a therapy suitable for each one of our animal patients, regardless of their disease. This approach also allows us to present unique services in Portugal, such as personalized vacination programs and teeth cleaning without anesthesia.


The team that works to bring life to this concept and provide a quality, personalized service is made up of a qualified veterinarian with specific training in holistic medicine and therapy and by a biologist. Both professionals believe that lifetime training and education are essential to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in their fields.

The holistic approach to veterinary medicine also gives great importance to respecting the natural environment and this new service uses, almost entirely, products and medicines that are friendly to the environment. It recycles and also hopes in the future to make its appointment rounds and other professional visits in ecological vehicles that respect the environment.

We hope to provide you, for the first time in Portugal, with a personalized veterinary service that is similar to those available all over Europe and the United States.
